The I-GATE PC Card connects your PC to the wireless I-GATE network. Install the software you've received and your PC will be part of your wireless network in no time. The I-GATE PC Card may be used with an I-GATE AccessPoint ISDN (for Internet access) or with an I-GATE AccessPoint I/LAN. The PC Card also allows you to set up a temporary network, i.e. during workshops, meetings, projects limited in time, etc. The PC card features sturdy design, integrated antenna, very low power consumption in stand-by mode, fast and automatic handshaking for send and receive readiness, authentication and encryption (WEP) for secure data transmission. The I-GATE PC Card automatically selects the fastest radio network connection as well as the optimum data transfer rate of 11 Mbps, 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps or 1 Mbps. I-GATE, the wireless PC network, is a complete system solution from a single source.
