The D-LinkAir DWL-810 is an IEEE 802.3 Ethernet to IEEE 802.11b wireless bridge that delivers wireless connectivity for devices with built-in Ethernet support. The D-LinkAir DWL-810 operates in the 2.4GHz frequency range and uses Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) modulation technology for data integrity. Both Ad-Hoc mode, peer-to-peer networking from one 802.11b device to another, and Infrastructure mode, communications between wireless devices with the use of an Access Point are supported by the D-LinkAir DWL-810, for maximum flexibility. Users need only connect the DWL-810, to the device they wish to add wireless connectivity to, using a CAT 5-crossover cable. The D-LinkAir DWL-810 provides users with a means to connect any Ethernet enabled device to an 802.11b wireless network.
