The M4097D is probably the most versatile Scanner Fujitsu have produced, being perfectly suited to a wide variety of applications. Aimed at volumes of up to 7,500 documents a day the M4097D scans at an impressive 50 pages a minute, and 90 images per minute in duplex. It also has a flatbed for scanning bound or delicate documents. Offering probably the best "mixed document" feeding in its class the M4097D is ideally suited for general purpose document management/archival applications where different types of documents up to A3 size need to be captured. The M4097D also offers great price / performance ratios for "data capture" applications where the need to capture for example tick box information from pre-designed forms is paramount. Paper handling can be a headache with some scanners, but not with the M4097D. In fact, its automatic document feeder will handle up to 100 sheets at a time, freeing you to do other things.
