The egg has a long and illustrious gaming history, with fine egg-xamples (ho, ho!) including Dizzy (of Fantastic Adventures fame), Chuckie Egg, um, and lots more! Anyway, Eggo Mania continues that fine tradition with a puzzle-based game thats like Tetris, only in reverse. With eggs. Playing as an Eggo (a bit like the peanut M&M guy) you need to run around catching blocks that fall from the sky and use them to build a tower. This fast and frantic scramble will be hampered somewhat by a rising water level and other rival Eggos, determined to smash your best-laid plans. The blocks need to be slotted neatly in place, and the tower must be strong and steady, or the gaps will let water seep through and your tower will collapse. There are two main modes of play: Over Easy and Hard Boiled, with Bomb, Survival, Score, Custom and Tournament included as five extras. Many modes include two-player options, and the multiplayer feature allows up to eight players to take part. Its a fast-paced, frenzied and frenetic affair. |
