The main ethical issue surrounding the production of printers is pollution. By achieving a high ethical rating, Canon Inc. is seen to be making a concerted effort to limit the damage done to the environment through its production methods. Initiatives which they employ may include reusing products and waste material again and refusing to buy environmentally unfriendly products. The new model is small enough to be kept in a drawer, yet stylish enough to look right at home in the living room. The Card Photo Printer has an optional car battery adapter (CBA-CP100), which powers the printer whilst on the move. The Card Photo Printer CP-300 also includes a lithium ion rechargeable battery pack, for printing without access to a mains power supply. Printing a photo on the Card Photo Printer CP-300 is simply a matter of connecting direct to a Canon digital camera via the camera's standard USB cable. |
