Allied Telesyn's AT-8024GB Fast Ethernet managed switch provides exceptional performance, ease of use and flexibility at an affordable price. Utilizing a robust 9.6Gbps non-blocking switching architecture for wire speed packet forwarding and featuring priority queuing for weighted packet management, the AT-8024GB is ideally suited for deployment in small and medium enterprises, in multi-unit buildings, hotels, schools and universities. The AT-8024GB includes two Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) expansion slots. These slots can be populated with 1000SX or 1000LX GBICs. Although the AT-8024GB switch can be used as a Plug-and-Play device, an extensive range of management is provided at no additional charge. Management features include Web-based management, SNMP and Telnet. Through these easy to use management features, network managers can enable Enhanced Stacking to remotely manage up to 24 switches while using a single IP address per broadcast domain. |
