Tweety's been cursed! A run-in with bad mojo leaves everyone's favorite big-headed bird in danger of being turned to stone. The only way to lift the curse is for Tweety's friends to find five Magic Gems scattered around the world. This sounds like a setup for an adventure game, but Tweety and the Magic Gems is actually a board game in the vein of the Mario Party series. Using the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable and separate Game Paks for each player, as many as four friends can compete to save Tweety. The controllable Loony Tunes favorites are Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Yosemite San, Mark Antony and Porky Pig. The characters look great, but since they're essentially pawns they don't convey that manic Looney Tunes energy. Instead of rolling dice, you'll pull a playing card to determine how many spaces to move. Drawing an ace, joker or seven guarantees a meeting with Marvin the Martian, Taz or the Roadrunner. |
