SpamScreen gives you an advanced anti-spamming filter to help you fight back and stop receiving the growing deluge of junk e-mail that wastes your employees' valuable time. Available as an optional software module for your Firebox appliance, SpamScreen easily integrates into your standard Firebox security software.SpamScreen is integrated at the gateway, to protect you from e-mail spam before it enters your network. It is pre-configured to immediately stop e-mail spam upon installation, and it is configurable to eliminate false positives. This software is fully supported by WatchGuard, so you know where to turn if you have questions or need help.SpamScreen checks the source of each incoming SMTP e-mail message against a list of spam signatures stored on the Firebox appliance, and a Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBLs) of questionable sources. The RBL is checked using a reverse DNS lookup of the IP address from which the e-mail is being received. |
