HP OpenView Storage Operations Manager is a comprehensive and efficient HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) and SAN management solution. It provides a central management console from which EVAs and heterogeneous storage infrastructure devices (switches, HBAs, bridges) as well as (optionally) heterogeneous non-EVA storage, direct attached storage (DAS), Networked Attached Storage (NAS), and tape storage devices are automatically discovered, mapped, monitored, maintained and configured. HP OpenView Storage Operations Manager combines into a single offering EVA management using Command View EVA v3.2 and SAN management using the Storage Node Manager module from the HP OpenView Storage Area Manager v3.2 suite. HP OpenView Storage Operations Manager is required software to manage EVAs running with VCS 3.010 or later. |
