Eicon's SNA Gateway is a PC-based, entry-level software package that combines with Eicon Technology's EiconCards, to provide remote branch offices with flexible and cost effective access to SNA host-based corporate information systems. It links LAN-based PCs and existing SNA/APPN devices to IBM mainframes and AS/400s. Eicon's SNA Gateway easily integrates into many different networks. Support of multiple LAN and WAN protocols allows large corporations to easily roll-out SNA Gateway across their networks, while at the same time protecting existing investments, without locking corporations into a single networking environment. |
