In the event of a lost, stolen or damaged laptop, BrightStor Mobile Backup can restore a user's data files, desktop icons and Internet favorites to a new laptop. BrightStor Mobile Backup is the only product that performs byte-level, file backups in a disconnected mode. Unlike most backup products, clients do not need to be connected to the network to initiate a backup. BrightStor Mobile Backup creates the backup copy and conveniently stores it on the server when a connection is made. The server then independently processes the data and the client can disconnect at any time after the data is transmitted, minimizing user connection time to the server.BrightStor Mobile Backup data recovery features range from the retrieval of historical file revision to complete restoration. |
